Please be advised regarding the care of Indigo garments. The dye used for these garments is natural plant-based indigo which gives the coveted indigo color; however, the color bleeds.
Wash these garments in cold water, separately from other items, with gentle, PH-neutral soap. (Shampoo works well in a pinch!) You may notice a little blue coming out into your hands when handling the garment, or in the water when you are washing- this is normal and will not happen after a few washes. We recommend hanging dry instead of machine drying, Please do not hang dry these garments in direct sunlight - this can cause excessive fading. A small amount of fading over time can occur - this is normal and adds to the beauty.
